Holiday Open House
The Holiday Open House for 2007 is history. Thanks to Dan Pinciaro who provided the live music on Friday night, and to the staff members who helped with the cookie baking! We decided to hold the Open House a week later than usual because of the unseasonably warm weather, and ended up conflicting with a bunch of other activities… the Wheeling Christmas Parade most notably. We understand is you had to choose other activities over ours. I’ve been there, done that.
We lament the passing of a great man on Friday the 16th. Herman Kruszewski, father of Pam Petrilla and father-in-law of Ray Petrilla who has worked with us in past years, passed away at the age of 89. He was one of our favorite people! He had stories of his early life that could fill a book, and the more we came to know him, the more we found about him to admire… and like. He’ll be buried on Monday at Holly Memorial Gardens. Our thoughts and prayers today are with Pam and Ray, and Herman’s wife, Margaret.
